Ophthalmology is the branch of veterinary medicine dealing with the anatomy, physiology and pathology of the eye.

In the field of ophthalmology, Dechra markets the licensed veterinary medicinal product Fucithalmic Vet^®. This product is indicated for the topical treatment of conjunctivitis associated with staphylococcal infections.

Dechra also has another Ophthalmology product – Cleanocular™, which is part of our care range of unlicensed products. Cleanocular can be used to clean discharge and debris from the hair around the eyes. It is not to be used within the eye itself.
